Bird Of Prey

Romulan Bird Of Prey

I pre-ordered this last year and my Diamond Select / Art Asylum Romulan Bird Of Prey finally arrived this week. It has excellent build quality, good sound effects and voice recordings from the original series episode Balance Of Terror.

Enterprise NCC 1701 E

I wasn't planning on getting the Enterprise E from Diamond Select / Art Asylum but would you accept that I needed something to bump up the price and get the free delivery ?
No I didn't think so :)
A very well built and slick looking model, a slight edge on the Enterprise A and original models and a much better stand which hasn't always been a bugbear of mine.

Starship Enterprise NCC1701-A

I've had this Diamond Select beauty on pre-order for quite a while and it finally arrived from Forbidden Planet yesterday, bask in the glory that is the Starship Enterprise NCC 1701-A.

Bird Of Prey

I've been keeping my eye on the UK market for some of the Diamond Select / Art Asylum Star Trek ship models since you can't source direct from the US store. Prices can vary dramatically which I guess has a lot to do with supply and demand so when I saw the Klingon Bird of Prey for £26 I snapped it up and well it was well worth the money.
The model is large and heavy, very good build quality and the added sound and lighting effects are icing on the cake. My only issue and the same goes for my first Enterprise model is that I would have liked a more solid stand, infact I've looked into third party stands but they are comparatively expensive.

USS Enterprise

Yeah that's my new Diamond Select USS Enterprise NCC 1701
Love the model but the supplied stand is a bit on the flimsy side and limits how you can position the ship for a more dynamic look rather than on an more or less even keel.
